2026 LANCASHIRE SCHOOLS’ CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT
WITTON PARK, BLACKBURN
SATURDAY 31st JANUARY
The Cross Country Championships were once again held at Witton Park this year. The course was fairly soft underfoot with the odd muddy patch in places. Weather conditions were fairly cool with sunshine around midday and a bit of drizzle. All of the races started on time and our thanks go to the technical officials on the day. Thanks also to all of the marshals, including those from Preston Harriers, for volunteering their time.
The total of 370 finishers was higher than last years (350).
